Interview Luise Morgeneyer

Thoughts on the current situation that you really want to share? 

I think it's so nice to see how we're learning to be considerate of each other within society. I hope we'll keep it that way beyond the Corona measures. 

your favorite place? 

Hiddensee and hostel beds. 

 Which book do you think everyone should read at least once? 

The Diary of Anne Frank and about everything by Brené Brown (!) 

Are you more likely to be the first or last to show up for the date? 

I'd like to say the first, but that would be a lie. 

Which celebrity would you like to be stranded on a desert island with? 

With the young Leonardo DiCaprio – like back then on “The Beach”. But with the world saver attitude of today! 

Everyone is talking about climate neutrality – do you pay attention to your CO2 footprint? 

In any case! Both privately and at my publishing house, we are always careful to keep our CO2 footprint as low as possible. 

When and why did you start living more sustainably? 

My biggest inspiration for this was and is Maddie from @dariadaria . It also helped me a lot that I knew that I don't have to and above all can do everything perfectly right away. But I try to get a little bit better every day. 

You and your girlfriend Eva Burdack founded the handwritten VERLAG together. How do you know each other and how did you end up founding your own company? 

We actually met online, via Instagram.

What habit would you like to get rid of? 

I am meticulously clean - I would like to be more relaxed sometimes. 

Your 3 ultimate tips for more sustainability in the bathroom? 
  1. Stop using disposable razors
  2. The only cream you need is sunscreen 
  3. Reusable makeup remover wipes - much gentler on the skin and actually cleans properly 
 If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be? 

That flying would no longer be polluting and that all travelers would be mindful of the environment they travel. 

 What beauty product could you never do without again? 

lip care. 

What does water as a resource mean to you? 

Everything.
